May I suggest, in composing your personal letters to electors, you do not use examples of things Donald Trump has said and done. The electors are aware of his many faults and have kept close watch on the election. Also, keep away from praising Hillary. Don’t compare the candidates. She is not liked by these people, so it will be a turn-off. Rather, implore their sense of responsibility, their duty to country, patriotism not party, to ask for their help. Also, do not use the terms Faithless Elector or Flip the Vote. At the end of your letter identify yourself as noted in the sample. Don’t tell them your life’s story, perhaps tell them your profession and if you have kids, are a vet, have a family member serving, etc. It is great to say you are frightened for the future of your children and country. After all, that’s why you’re writing. Good luck!

If you’ve had second thoughts about the fitness of your candidate, and have been disturbed by the revelations about Mr. Trump that have come to light since the Convention, won’t you please cast your vote for Hillary Clinton? Because during these troubling times, isn’t it right to put aside politics and consider what is truly best for our country. Who is best prepared to serve? Who is mentally fit to lead us?
Our future is in your hands. Switching your vote will take great courage. But America was built by courageous men and women.
